Over dinner one night with Mike Batt and his family he asked
me to list 20 songs I would like to sing and as we talked we decided
we should try to get funding for an album together. But, one with
a twist and that twist would be that all songs would be played
orchestrally. Well, I was amazed when Mike called a few days later
and said, "hey Jus, we've got a record company who thinks
the idea is great, let's do it!" Before I knew it, we were
in Abbey Road, no. one studio with the biggest and best orchestra
in London, The Philharmonic. What a buzz. I sang live on many
tracks and on others the vocal was re-done later. Mike's contribution
to this project was immense and he took full responsibility on
his shoulders. I will always be grateful to him for making such
a wonderful sounding album.
